This policy explains our privacy practices for the websites, mypolicyapp.com, (collectively, the “Sites”), mobile applications and services provided by Introvert Sales and its subsidiaries (collectively referred to as “myPolicy”) (the Sites, mobile applications and services provided by myPolicy are collectively referred to as the “Services”).
“Personal Data” or “personal data” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified from that data, or from that data and other information to which an organisation has or is likely to have access. Common examples of personal data could include name, identification number and contact information.
1. Information Collected or Received
myPolicy will not sell or disclose your name, email address or other personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this policy.
As a myPolicy member you are required to provide a valid email address at registration.
Depending on which services you choose to use, myPolicy may require additional information, such as financial information (including annual income, annual expenditure and insurance policies information), and/or personal health information. As an advisor, myPolicy may require information such as your representative number, mailing address and/or telephone number in order to verify your identity and provide this service to you.
You may optionally choose to provide your full name and other personal information (such as birthday, gender, location) to be publicly displayed in connection to your account and activity.
Your username, or name is publicly displayed and connected to your myPolicy activity. Other people may see your profile information and insurance policies information in mobile application.
myPolicy automatically receives and records some information from your browser when you visit the Sites, such as your IP address, cookies and data about which pages you visit on the site through the use of log files provided by our third-party tracking-utility partners. This information helps us analyze and understand how the site works for members and visitors.
myPolicy uses the information described in this policy to provide and improve our services and products, for billing, for identification and authentication purposes, to contact members or interested parties, and for general research and aggregate reporting.
myPolicy's Terms of Service require all account owners to be at least 18 years of age (or have the permission and supervision of a responsible parent or legal guardian), therefore, this policy does not discuss use of our site or services by minors.
2. Choice & Control
myPolicy gives you the choice of providing, editing or removing certain information.You may change or correct your myPolicy account information (except your username) at any time. You may remove certain optional information you no longer wish to be publicly visible, such as your full name.
3. Messages from myPolicy
On occasion, myPolicy will send you messages. The default, required form of communication is email.
Some messages from myPolicy are service-related and required for members. Examples of service-related messages include, but are not limited to: a welcome/confirmation email when you register your account, notification of offers or sales, or correspondence with myPolicy's support team. These messages are not promotional in nature. You may not opt-out of receiving service-related messages from myPolicy, unless you close your account.
As a member, myPolicy may also send you messages related to certain features on the site or your activity. myPolicy may also send you news or updates about changes to our site or services.
4. Information We Collect
We collects personal information for specific, limited purposes. Information is collected by fair and lawful means.
- Your identity – This includes name, gender, e-mail address, date of birth, device ID and IP address.
- Your interaction with us – For example, an email or letter you send to us or other records of any contact you have with us.
- Information on your use of our services – For example, the time and duration of you using our mobile application.
5. How we use your information
We may use your information for:
- Delivering our products and services to you including management and operation of your account
- To conduct research and analysis for statistical purposes such as which functions are more popular
- Inform you of service and security issues
- Advising, advertising and marketing our products and services and those of our third party business partners via voice calls, SMS/MMS, whatsapps, emails and/or faxes to your telephone number(s) that you may provide to myPolicy from time to time
- Meet legal, regulatory and other requirements including providing assistance to law enforcement, judicial and other government agencies
We will not use your personal data for purposes other than what we have informed you, or which are permitted under local laws and regulations.
We will not offer, publish or share your personal data with third parties outside of the Introvert Sales Group for commercial purposes, without seeking your explicit permission.

- Introverts Sales and its associates within Introverts Sales groups of companies
- Financial Advisers appointed or approved by you
- Business partners and vendors we work with to deliver services you have subscribed to
- any company which Introverts Sales may buy into, merge or sell to
7. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
myPolicy uses a variety of technologies to help us better understand how people use our site and services.
A cookie is a small data file sent from a web site to your browser that is stored on your computer's hard drive. myPolicy uses our own cookies for a number of purposes, including to access your information when you sign in; keep track of preferences you specify; display the most appropriate content based on your interests and activity on myPolicy; estimate and report myPolicy's total audience size and traffic; conduct research to improve our content and services. You can configure your browser's settings to reflect your preference to accept or reject cookies. If you reject all cookies, you will not be able to take full advantage of myPolicy's services.
We use Flash cookies (a.k.a local shared objects or LSOs) to store some of your viewing preferences on our site. The security of your personal information is important to us. Your myPolicy account information is protected by a password. It is important that you protect against unauthorized access of your account and information by choosing your password carefully, and keeping your password and computer secure by signing out after using our services. myPolicy encrypts sensitive information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
myPolicy follows generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once myPolicy receives it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
9. Data Retention
myPolicy will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you no longer want myPolicy to use your information to provide you services, you may close your account. Following account deactivation, public information such as your username, public bio, items listed, public comments, favourites and follows will be removed. Private communication between users such as chats and offers made are not information that is specific to your account alone. As such, these are not part of your account and will not be deleted upon account deactivation.
10. Requesting access to Personal Data
You may request access to your personal data in our possession at any time by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you wish to request access to another user’s personal data, we will not be able to release such information unless it is for the purposes of pursuing legal action and/or any other relevant action for which such information is duly necessary. In such cases, your request must be accompanied by a letter from an official law enforcement body, such as the Courts or Police Force, or any other relevant legal body which myPolicy is required to comply with.
myPolicy reserves the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it periodically. We'll communicate changes by posting a notice on the site. If we make material changes to this policy you will be notified here, by email, or other places myPolicy deems appropriate.
